더 스톨른 가먼트는 디자이너가 런던한 겔러리에서 전시중이던 졸업작품을 도난당하면서 그 보험금으로부터 시작된 브랜드이다. the STOLEN GARMENT는 기존의 남성복에 일반적인 기대를 벗어난 자유롭고 전위적인 디자인을 추구한다. 기존의 남성복 패션의 문법에 질문을 던지고 디자이너가 연구하고 있는 미적 이상형(ideal type)과 스토리에 대해 자유롭게 생각하고, 이를 형상화하는 과정을 통해 새로운 디자인을 만들어간다."
